ABOUT YOUR GUEST HOUSE:
Your guesthouse has the BEST view on the bay, is very private and quiet, and has a great eagle roosting tree just behind it. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen size and twin bed, the other with a double bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room and two Aero (inflatable) twin beds are available. All bedding and towels are supplied. Your kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave and all kitchenware. You also have your own washer & dryer, gas grill, smoker, chest freezer, and vacuum packer. A wood-stove is used for heat or there is a Toyo heater for quick warm-ups. Rain water is caught, stored and filtered from the roof. We have recently added a covered Porch with fire pit and a much longer dock ramp.

South Haven is located 1.5 miles across the bay from Thorne Bay proper. We are just a 5 minute skiff-ride from the city dock, where your Suburban is parked.

ALSO INCLUDED:
Included in our package are a 16-foot, welded aluminum Workskiff, with 60hp Honda outboards, 8 hp Suzuki kickers and a steering console. Ocean rods & reels and crab pots are supplied, as are vacuum packers and freezers. Fish-cleaning station, scale and rack to display fish are all on our dock. Ocean fishing is limited to four people in the skiff, but we will allow six to travel from the guesthouse to town. A Suburban is also included for your use to tour the island, travel to various fishing holes and to get supplies. If you require an additional skiff or vehicle, they can be rented from other lodges, with advanced notice. Reservations for charters also require advanced notice. We strongly recommend taking a charter early in your trip, so you can fill your fish boxes early, and so enjoy the rest of your trip with no pressure.
